Sites: Quincy Stone Arch Bridge

This is a picture of the Quincy Stone Arch Bridge.

This bridge is located on South 8th street. Here's a quote from the encyclopedia. This Stone Arch bridge " was built in the 1800's as a bridge over Curtis Creek. The bridge has survived that long and still survives the hardships of traffic each day".

I'll go back again when I have more time and get some detailed up close pictures for you. It's really pretty.

Comments:
I actually drew it once. Both of my children sketch and we used to go to South Park, walk the trails until we found something to sketch and take a seat until we were done!! There used to be a trail that would take you from the main park near the playground area all the way to the Stone Arch bridge. Last time I tried it, it was pretty grown up. Do you think a person would get arrested for taking a saw and an ax to clear the trail a little bit?
