What's in the coin jar?

Ever have those days when you have to dig in the coin jar to come up with some cash? Yeah, well, me too and today was one of those days. I came up with $12.00 in change ... not too shaby. Of course, now all that's left are a few nickels and lots of pennys. I'll save those for another rainy day. I try not to spend my change when I'm out doing stuff. That enables me to add to my change jar quite frequently and it tends to pile up pretty fast. I went through the house the other day and collected change to put in the jar. There was some on the dresser, the jewelry box, the night stand, the washing machine and on the dining room table ... and of course in my pants pockets and coat pocket. Searching your coat pockets can be just like Christmas! Today I found some gum from last year in my coat pocket. I'm chewing it right now. It was hard and not very tasty. In fact, I just spit it out. Oh well, I had to give it a try!!!

That is a really good idea.. I'm going to have to start a coin jar!

My coin jar is slowly filling back up. Not enough to count yet ... but it will get there!!!
