Zoo: Reptile World
Here's another cobra.
This is the one that would stand up and look you in the eye. It was rather unsettling.
This is also the one that struck and tried to bite Tina when she turned her back.
Yikes.

Oh my gosh, I totally forgot they spit!!!
It would stand almost straight up, look you in the eye and sway ... you were convinced it was going to strike at you at any minute. It was behind glass and I still thought it was scarey!!!!!

So glad you said they were behind glass because that was the first thing I was going to ask you.
Even though you were safe from them one striking is still scarry.
Hope Tina is alright and it hasn't turned off of snakes.

I have never had an encounter with a snake like that, and quite frankly I don't think I want to. They have their own beauty that I find so strange and fascinating, though.
Doubleknot, let's just say that it didn't help move snakes up to being one of my favorite creatures. They are, however, better than spiders.
Even though I don't care for snakes, I think they are intriguing. (not sure if that's spelled correctly)
