General:
Well, it sure looks like a beautiful day out there. I'm not sure what we're doing today, but I imagine it will involve lots of yard work ... probably up on the hill. If you remember, we had two trees fall during the tornado ... and today we get to clean it all up.
I wish I could just lean over and blow it down the hill, you know, like you would do to one of those fuzzy dandelions! Then I could pick it up and haul it at the bottom of the hill. Oh well, I guess I just need to quit whining and get it done, huh? The bright side is I have some free wood for the wood pile this year!!!!! That's good!!! Oh, I'll still have to buy some and have it hauled in.
The first time I bought wood, they just kind of dumped it in a big pile and then I had to move it all to the wood pile behind the garage. Last time though, he brought his granddaughter, she was 16, and we all stacked it together. It went by really fast. I SO much appreciated it.
So, enough stories ... time to work!!!

How did the yard work go? I can just imagine it being a lot of work. I can't wait for our outdoors to dry off so we can start painting again.
It's nice to have free firewood. We'll probably have to buy some for next winter. We've been lucky to have free firewood from one source or another all this time.

Ava...where on earth do you get all that energy? You're always doing something. It must be all that rhythm in your soul that keeps your metabolism running in HIGH gear.
Did the tree's get rooted out of the ground, Ava?
A tornado! Gosh, that must have been terrifying!!
I don't envy you all the hard work(wink)did you get all done?

Hi everybody! Well, the yard work didn't go much at all. It was cold all weekend after all of the rain and I couldn't stay out without getting all stiffened up. So ... I have more work to do for another day.
When I do projects like that my husband is usually helping me. I don't do it by myself, that's for sure.
The trees didn't get rooted out of the ground, just broken in half at the trunk ... one lower trunk and one up higher ... jus the tree top fell. It's such a mess out there. I'll be glad to get it cleaned up.
