My Dog:
Well, my dog just came to get me and you'll never guess what he wanted.
See, he comes to me whines and looks me in the eye. I look at him and say "what?" He looks at me and barks. I get up and say "show me" and then he takes me and shows me what he wants.
Sometimes he's hungry, sometimes he wants upstairs, sometimes he wants outside and sometimes he wants a treat, sometimes he wants to watch tv (which is actually snuggling with me on the couch while I watch tv), sometimes he'll show me something that is out of place and I'll put it up (that really bugs him) and sometimes he wants to play hide and seek.
Nope, not this time. This time he took me to the bathroom and showed me that someone had shut the lid to toilet stool. So, I opened it for him and he's as happy as can be!
Yes, he has not one, but two water bowls in the house ... he just prefers to drink out of the toilet. Whatever makes him happy!!!

You sound like a 'whatever' person like me...if that's what the dog wants to do, that's fine, as long as it makes him happy.
