Crafts:
Yes,
Now you must look at my craft projects ...
One of the things you must suffer as a reader of my blog.

Above is my newest venture.
I couldn't cross stitch anymore with going blind,
So I opted for a crochet project instead.
Decided to try something new.
It doesn't look like much at the moment,
but it's going to be an afghan.
This one has little individual squares that you attach together to form the afghan.
I've always sewn squares with a needle and yarn.
This pattern has you join them as you crochet ...
No sewing involved at all!
It's great!
This one is made of scrap yarn,
But the next one will be coordinated colors and much prettier.
Oh yes,
I also made the purple afghan on the back of the couch.
I like having them there,
Because I always get cold in the evening ...
grab it ...
and cozy up with it.

Above is my completed counted cross stitch project that I just finished.
It's going to go in my sewing room.
I'm going to have it framed and matted at Hobby Lobby.
I'm pleased with the way it turned out.
It took forever.
There are a lot of tiny stitches involved with this one!
That's for sure!
But worth it.
