Fun For Me ... Music For You

What did I do today?
Got up at 7:00.
Was grouchy for about an hour.
(that's my morning ritual until the pain medicine kicks in!)
Started teaching at 10:00 ...
finished at 7:00.
Had chocolate cake for breakfast.
Salsbury steak for lunch.
Sloppy joe for supper.

Didn't practice any instruments today,
But did buy some new violin music to go over.
I have a violin student who needs some new material,
So I bought some to play through and see if it will work.
Sometimes it's hard to tell just by looking.

Oh,
I got to watch the second part of Broken Trail, a new movie on AMC.
It was really good.
I love westerns.
I always thought I would marry Clint Eastwood when I grew up ...
Didn't quite work out.
I'm sure he would have asked if our paths had crossed.

Worked on my afghan.
Now it's 11:34 and I'm going to go to bed soon.

Right now I'm listening to Cotton Jenny on the stereo.
The dog just came over for a kiss.
Let in my nightly swarm of bugs when I let the dog out.
One went in my mouth, but I didn't swallow it.
Just kind of spit ...
It'll survive for another day.

Thirty-Two hours and Thirty minutes until Session on Thursday.
First La Gondola ...
and then off to Ely.
I'm sure missing everyone.
Can't wait to get there!!
