General:

Well, today (Saturday) we got up and went to some garage sales. I got a thermos (which I'm taking to Thresher's), two tapes (one of MC Hammer and one of Country dances ... like the electric slide, etc), two hats (one is plaid and the other is purple ... bought those from one of my neighbors), a pair of sunglasses (I left mine at home) and an electric piano for $35.00 (it has an electrical problem, but for $35 I can have it looked at and fixed ... or get rid of it if it can't be fixed). It was a good day!


Jim, who tunes my piano, is coming Thursday morning to tune my piano and then take a look at the electric one to see if he can fix it. Hopefully someone who is "electrical" can fix it for me. It's cool ... has headphones and everything.

Our friend Jason took my hubby in his truck and they picked up the piano and brought it home. It's sitting beside my organ.

Cross your fingers that it's fixable!!!!

I am hoping for you that it is fixable - what a bargain. I need to get out and yard sale a little but it just isn't fun without someone to go with you and my yard sale partner had to leave. Besides then I would have to load up more stuff for the misson to make room for the stuff I bought!

I know what you mean, we just decluttered this spring. Rented a huge dumpster and took stuff to Salvation Army. It's hard for me to get rid of things, so I was very proud of myself. Then ... it begins again!!!
