I love the colors of the trees in the fall ...
The rustle of the leaves in the trees ...
The rustle of the leaves under your feet ...

After the leaves fall is the best time for birdwatching.
Yes,
you do see more variations of bird types in the spring and summer,
but you have an unobstructed view in the late fall and winter.
In the spring and summer
I have to rely on recognizing bird calls and then trying to locate the bird by sound.
It works,
it just takes longer.
Some days I am more patient than others.
