Cell Phone
I think I've got my new cell phone figured out.
It's a tracfone ... it's blue and gray.
It's so cute!!!!
Anyway, I've finally figured out how to set up my voice mail box.
Okay, I'll confess ... I had to call the service center and have them help me do it. But it's done!!! I DID push all the buttons!!!! Now I can actually give someone my phone number and they can actually leave a message!
I also figured out how to lock the keypad so I can leave it on while it's in my pocket and not accidentally push any of the buttons. Yes, I figured that out all on my own. I actually read the manual!!! Twice!!!! For those of you who know me ... I know it's hard to believe ... but it's true.
I even figured out how to program some of you into my contact list so I don't have to dial your phone number every time. I'm on a roll!!!!!!
Go me!!!!!!

Good for you...Now with your new cell phone you can always be reached.
My very first cell phone was also a tract phone. I didn't keep it long because of the way the minutes work. I would buy a large amount of minutes and they would be gone in no time. That's because sometimes when you talk for one minute it would subtract 4 minutes away.
That wasn't the worst part of it...I couldn't make any calls out of my area. It was a bad phone, so I got another one, but I still kept running out of minutes. I guess I just talked too much on it.

I just renewed my Verizon contract and more than dubled the minutes for very little more.
I have to sit on the girls though to make sure they're not on it so it usually stays in my pocket.
I didn't think I'd ever want one; now I don't know how I'dmanage without it.
Or this infernal device I'm typing on.
Oh Brave New World!!

Hello Ava ~ Congrats on the new cell phone and your programming it. Well
done. Also I am glad you had a great time in Ely, despite the migraine.
Thanks for your comments, Hugs, Merle.

Hey Pasadena! Yeah, the minutes do dissappear quickly, but that's okay. I'm not giving the number out except to just a couple of people. It's mainly for roadside emergencies.
I did find out that it used my minutes to check my voice mail, so I called the company and they gave me a way to do it that doesn't cost me anything. That was good!
My little phone gets great reception.
Hi Granny!
Sounds like you got a great deal with Verizon.
Hi Merle!
Yes, I'm quite proud of myself for programming my phone. :)
I did have a good time at Ely even though I had a migraine. The down side though is that even when I don't let my migraine get me down, it changes my facial expression and people think I'm mad about something.
