Fun For Me ... Music For You

Well, I did it.
I've loaded up my first car load of boxes for storage and I'm headed over there in just a minute.

I know material things are not important and are not what make us happy,
but I sure am sad to leave my house.

But you know what?
I can be happy in my little two room studio apartment and my room at Joann's.
And I don't think it's going to take me very long to get used to it.

As my friend Tangie said on her blog,
It's up to each of us to rewrite the script of our lives.
No one else can do it or should do it.
It should come from within ourselves.

That's what I'm doing right now.
Rewriting the script for my life.
Embracing my roots ...
Loving and adoring my family ...
Enjoying my friends ...
Truly enjoying my friends ...

I'm headed in a whole new direction and it's kind of scarey, fun, stressful and exhilerating all at the same time.

But good ...

I can see a little bit of what my future has in store
and I'm excited at the prospect of it.

And if I find myself sad or lonely ...
I have my music to keep my company ...
and dancing ...

So,
keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
Send me happy thoughts.
A little good luck wouldn't hurt either.
