General: Anger Issues

Yesterday,
I got to the library before it opened,
so I turned around and went
to the nearest convenience store for
a cheese danish and a cream soda.
Seems harmless enough.

Well,
it came to $2.54 ...
I had a $1 bill and a $20 bill ...
Obviously I gave her the $20 bill.

She flies off into this rant
because it was only $2.54 and I paid for it with a $20.
She said that I was just trying to take all of her money.

Well,
I would have thrown that food right back
at her and taken my $20 with me ...
but ...
I was hungry!!!!!

So the guy behind me puts his coffee up there ...
it came to .69 cents ...
she yelled, "You don't have to pay for that with a $20!!!"
He just looked at her startled.

Needless to say ...
I'll be going back there A LOT
and paying with a $20 every dang time!!!!!!

Comments:
Hi Ava ~~ How about giving her a $50 note - that would really shake her up. They should be able to have enough change on hand. How rude!!
Take care, Love, Merle.

Most places around here won't take anything larger than a $20 (except for the big stores).

I have to pay for small purchases with a $20 fairly often, usually because I've just hit the ATM for cash.

I'd use my ATM card but the smaller places usually charge and I don't want to do that.

Money is money I always say and they should accept anything you give them with smiling faces. I'd be going back there for sure as often as I liked, but I'd always make sure I paid with a twenty also.
